While the curfew for events in Ohio has been extended to 11:00pm, there is still no dancing allowed at wedding receptions. Here is the current list of rules as of 1/29/21. Fingers crossed we will have better news soon!

WEDDING CEREMONIES

RECEPTIONS
Max 300 Attendees – Actual capacity determined by venues’ socially-distant capacity *Venue is defined as an area with its own designated entrance/exit that does not share any common space with another event. Facilities with more than one potential venue space should consult the local Department of Health for guidance. -
FLOOR PLAN & GUEST SEATING
No more than ten (10) guests per table, and those individuals must be from the same household. Maintain minimum six (6) foot distance from the outermost chair of one table to the nearest chair of adjacent tables -
300-PERSON LIMIT IS PER VENUE, NOT PER EVENT
Venues may host a total of 300 guests – not separate events with up to 300 people -
MASK MANDATORY
For those over 10 years of age with no extenuating health circumstances. -
11 PM CURFEW
Ohioans should be home and retail establishments closed by 11pm daily

Prohibited – no socializing or activities. -
DANCING

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT / DJs
Permitted (guests must remain seated) -
ATTENDEES MUST REMAIN SEATED AT ALL TIMES
Traditional wedding reception formalities such as First Dance, toasts, tossing the bouquet, and cutting of the cake are permitted -
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Must be served tableside -
BUFFETS
No self-serve buffets and no self-serve bar areas permitted -
ALCOHOL SALES PROHIBITED
After 10 PM nightly -
PRIVATE ESTATE/RESIDENCE EVENTS
