Here’s a cautionary tale for brides to be. This weekend we worked with one of the most organized brides we have ever had. I was sure the wedding day would go exactly as planned. Not so fast! When I arrived on the scene, my client was in tears because she did not like her flowers. She had wanted rich, elegant fall colors and wound up with what she described as springtime bouquets. We were able to pull out the flowers she did not like and added red roses for a bit more autumnal color – but it made for some anxious moments for all involved. “Elegant fall colors” can mean different things to different florists. To avoid an unpleasant surprise like this on your wedding day – ask to see a mock up of your bouquets and centerpieces. You’ll be glad you did!
