Now that we have made it through the first week of 2019, it’s time to reveal the top 5 Cincinnati wedding trends we have been seeing for the past several months.
#1 Personalized Illustrations
We first started seeing this trend about 12 months ago, and it continues to grow in popularity. The best part: one of the most talented designers is from our very own hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Peggy McGrath of Who Drew NY creates customized sketches that turn into eye-catching save the dates, invitations and wedding day signage.

#2 Velvet
Especially popular for fall and winter weddings, there’s something about velvet linens that whispers LUXURY. From the way they feel to the way they drape so gracefully on a guest table, this is one trend we hope continues for a very long time.
#3 Banquet tables with low floral or greenery table runners and candles
Guests like to interact with friends on the other side of the table, and low centerpiece arrangements make this possible. Long tables have been a trend for quite a while, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
#4 Hanging candle & floral arrangements
This trend is a real show stopper. We hear audible gasps of amazement whenever our clients have a hanging floral installation.
#5 Experiential Favors
Whether it’s a donut wall or a pretzel wall, cigar bars or bourbon bars, a caricature artist or an interactive Photo Booth – our clients are choosing experiences over knick knacks as favors for their guests.
